10 WWE Superstars You Won't Believe Are Still Employed
5. David Otunga
A first season member of NXT, a former member of The Nexus, and John Laurinaitis legal advisor, David Otunga at one point couldnt be taken off television. Always with his trademark bow tie and coffee mug, Otunga brought his real life background as a lawyer to WWE and used it to help consul the heel authority figures who needed his help. When they didnt need legal help, they had him go to the ring and fight for them. Most of the time it would end with Otunga being laid out, but you could always rely on Otunga showing up the next week with a neck brace and that same coffee mug. His most recent appearance was at WrestleMania 30 during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but if you blinked you probably missed him. Its been said that he now does a lot of backstage work in WWE, but as an in ring performer theres neither hide nor hair of Otunga. Its possible that plans are in the works for Otunga to once again have a spot on Raw or Smackdown, especially if The Authority remains on television and needs legal advice, but otherwise its surprising to not hear that Otunga has been given the ol pink slip.
