One of the most agile and athletically gifted big men of his generation, Bam Bam Bigelow is probably most famous for having his entire head tattooed with flames and fire. Weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, the Bammer was a rugged, rough, angry looking fellow that was the last person you'd want to run into in a dark alley.

His look, attitude, and proud Asbury Park heritage earned him the nickname "The Beast From The East", and his career highlights often came from the villainous side of the ring.

Many remember Bigelow's feuds against Lawrence Taylor, Tatanka, Doink, and Bret Hart, but not as many remember the WrestleMania XI headliner for his time playing the hero inside the squared circle. Even fewer may recall that Bigelow actually had two separate runs as a babyface in WWE despite his naturally menacing work.

Bigelow actually debuted in WWE as a surprise babyface, accepting the services of manager Sir Oliver Humperdink as opposed to the other heel managers vying for Bigelow's contract.

Fast forward a few years and following losses to both LT and then-WWF Champion Diesel, Bam Bam was ousted from Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation and began his second run as a good guy. Despite main eventing the 1995 King Of The Ring, Bam Bam's babyface run was short-lived and he was used to put over Goldust and other newcomers before departing in late '95.
