10 WWE Survivor Series 2018 Impulse Reactions

6-0.

Six. Nil.

Raw's Survivor Series clean sweep was at least a new spin on a tired concept, even if it was hard to spot how much difference it would really make between the two brands. Shane McMahon could completely heel on Paige and blame her of course, but does anybody need to see her pilloried by a spoilt little rich kid as her Raw equivalents are every single time.

Those panicking that the blue brand was buried were perhaps premature in their assessment too - if anything the kayfabe motivation emerging from the Survivor Series might be one of great change across the board. Wrestlers didn't make the card thanks to old hands like Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio, and the arrogance of 'Shane-O-Mac' himself. An uprising led by Rusev, Andrade Almas et all may be the boost the show needs alongside brand new Champion Daniel Bryan.

Baron Corbin won't likely feel all that victorious by tomorrow night either. His impending doom at the hands of Braun Strowman was a fact he only seemed to remember three seconds after it became a certain reality.

It's almost...almost as if this point-scoring doesn't even matter. As usual, it was little more than a p*ssing contest, but thanks to Drake Maverick's exploits maybe 205 Live took that particular win back to Wednesday.
