In 2015, WWE made a lot of noise about Survivor Series being Undertaker's 25th anniversary with the promotion. A landmark achievement, 'Taker's celebration wasn't the only thing the show had going for it. Survivor Series 2015 also featured the latter stages of a tournament to crown the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Roman Reigns faced Alberto Del Rio in one Semi Final, whereas Dean Ambrose battled Kevin Owens in another. It's the match between Ambrose and KO that goes under the microscope here, as it's terribly overlooked.

Coming just second on the main card, both guys showed the chemistry that would help them during a future feud over the WWE Intercontinental Title. Even though Owens and Ambrose wasn't as long as Reigns vs. Del Rio, it must be considered the superior match.

Partly due to The Undertaker's anniversary, as well as the ridiculous pace WWE's product moves at today, the match has been easily forgotten. Go back and give it another viewing, and be prepared to be hit with the best bout on the card overall.
