When most wrestling fans discuss the exploits of tag-teams like The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz, TLC will logically be the first topic to come up. That's understandable, as those matches at SummerSlam 2000 and WrestleMania X-Seven have become legendary examples of raising the bar to dizzying heights.

What happened at the 2001 Survivor Series should not be forgotten though, both teams putting on quite the showing inside a cage. The 'Team Alliance vs. Team WWF' elimination main event was the obvious focal point of the pay-per-view that November, something that has consigned this Steel Cage bout to the history books without much fanfare.

Those who loved the TLC encounters will find a lot of enjoyment here. All the usual crazy bumps from the quartet are present and correct, including Jeff Hardy coming off the top of the cage structure itself.

Only adding to the intrigue, the purpose of this match was to unify both the WWF and WCW Tag-Team Titles once and for all. It's strange that some may never have even watched the match, making it essential viewing on the WWE Network.
