10 WWE Tag Teams That SURELY Didn't Happen (...But DID!)

In late 2007, the WWE Cruiserweight Championship had been vacated by acting SmackDown! GM Vickie Guerrero, citing concern for the now-former champion Hornswoggle’s diminutive stature in the division, and his place in the Mr. McMahon illegitimate son storyline.

Jamie Noble – trying to whittle down the competition – told a *little* fib to Deuce ‘n Domino, regarding comments made by Jimmy Wang Yang about their valet Cherry, leading to a match between Deuce and Yang. The redneck won, only to be battered by the trio post-match. The following week, Yang brought backup in the form of Shannon Moore, with the pair claiming victory over the greasers in tag team competition.

The cowpunk collective soon began feuding with Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz, with Yang and Moore even able to get some non-title victories, leading to a 15 Minutes of Fame Ironman match in January 2008. The champions retained following a draw, but both teams would continue to scrap on the live show circuit.

Moore and Yang would get another televised title shot later in April, losing once more, before largely disappearing from television. They would reunite one final time in a losing effort to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins in August, three days before Moore was released from WWE, dissolving the team.
