10 WWE Tag Teams Where Both Members Were The Marty Jannetty
9. The Highlanders
If you thought Drew McIntyre was the first Scottish performer out there making the country proud in WWE, then you'd be correct, as this pairing that preceded him was more of an insensitive jab at Scottish stereotypes than a representation of the country's wrestling prowess.
Robbie McAllister (Derek Graham-Couch) and Rory McAllister (Russell Murray) didn't find masses of success during the Ruthless Aggression era's final years. They entered a rivalry with The Spirit Squad and were given a couple of attempts to capture championship gold, but failed every time and soon became irrelevant.
Nowadays, the team is more known for an infamous incident than their time in the ring. This came after Derek was the centre of a controversy after being caught in the crowd of a TNA taping, shown on camera and even given a name graphic. It was the final nail in the coffin for the unsuccessful performer, and the pair were released in 2008.
They worked together as a tag team in the independent scene but rarely caught much steam. Neither of them went on to do much after disbanding in 2014, and it's safe to say they never will.
