10 WWE WrestleMania 34 Card Predictions After Royal Rumble 2018

2. John Cena Vs. The Undertaker

Given that John Cena isn't likely to be involved in the WWE or Universal Title picture anytime soon, and most media outlets have hinted at a "huge" WrestleMania 34 bout for the 16-time World Champion, facing The Undertaker is the only thing that works. Yes, 'The Deadman's' last bout was a sad disaster, and yes, this contest would be a lot better had it taken place half a decade ago, but it seems to be the direction that WWE are headed.

'Taker's Raw 25 promo was as confusing as it was ambiguous, and offered no hints towards his future. Still, his refusal to outright state his retirement is telling. If he was truly done, he'd have confirmed it by now, but the ageing 'Phenom' has instead opted to leave the door open.

This'll likely be the last chance WWE have to book Cena vs. Undertaker, so it's easy to see why they'd want to get it done, but if a peaking Roman Reigns couldn't drag a respectable performance from 'The Deadman,' what hope does this version of Cena have?

Avoiding a complete shambles would require an exorbitant amount of smoke and mirrors. Our fingers are crossed, but we aren't hopeful.
