10 WWE WrestleMania 34 Card Predictions After Royal Rumble 2018

1. Universal Title: Brock Lesnar (C) Vs. Roman Reigns

While Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar was pinpointed as early as spring 2017, strains of doubt remain. Braun Strowman's ascension makes another 'Monster vs. Beast' clash equally as compelling, and with John Cena just one title win away from smashing Ric Flair's long-held record, there's always a chance he'll sneak back into the picture. Regardless, the Royal Rumble's booking fell completely in-line with the idea that Reigns will fail in the 30-man battle royal, but achieve contendership through alternative means, and Raw's Elimination Chamber announcement all but confirms it.

'The Guy' hasn't been confirmed for the bout yet, but soon will be. He'll win on 25 February, likely pinning Strowman for the decisive fall, and go on to face Lesnar in the night's main event. Anything else would be a gigantic surprise.

'Mania 34 will conclude on Reigns stood on the turnbuckles, Universal Title held high, while New Orleans showers him with hatred and bile. This isn't necessarily a problem, though. His ghastly Hogan-esque 'overcoming the odds' persona has been toned down to the point where it could be argued that he's now a tweener, not an all-out babyface, and the match itself is going to rule.

Remember WrestleMania 31? Brock and Roman tore it down that night. There's no reason not to expect a similar standard this year.
