As groundbreaking as Charlotte vs. Ronda closing the show would be, this is your main event.
Roman Reigns has headlined four consecutive WrestleManias. The Rock is The bloody Rock. If WWE can put this bout together, there's no chance they'd even consider putting anything else in the top spot, and the odds of it actually happening have gone through the roof over the past few weeks.
They stem from reports leaked by Dave Meltzer in late July, stating that The Rock and WWE have already opened discussions regarding a potential WrestleMania 35 match. On top of this, 'The Great One' has openly expressed a desire to face his cousin before walking away for good, making this an easy booking prediction.
It's critical that WWE nail the presentation. There's no chance anyone is going to cheer Reigns against The Rock, so playing babyface is out. Use this as a way to put him over as a good guy will only push 'The Big Dog' further down the rabbit-hole of failure. People are going to be fired-up to see Dwayne Johnson regardless. Similarly, they'll sh*t on Reigns when he wins.
