Technical supremo Zack Sabre Jr. was a surprise inclusion in the Cruiserweight Classic, and one of the biggest fish that got away in terms of both the United Kingdom Championship and Cruiserweight Division scene.

If the door is still open for him, WrestleMania could add him as one half of a British-style cruiserweight contest as a counterpoint to the more traditional spectacle of sweaty meatpiles clotheslining each other.

His opponent?

Pete Dunne, of course, one of Britain’s best performers and the perfect heel foil to Sabre’s dashing babyface. Dunne is already beloved by the WWE’s smarter fans for his showcasing of the hard-hitting yet technical British style.

Sabre versus Dunne would be a landmark not just for WrestleMania, but for British wrestling itself.
