It’s not uncommon to have a title change or two at WrestleMania, considering that it’s the biggest show of the year.

But for a wrestler to lose two championships at the same WrestleMania? That’s truly something special.

None other than your Olympic hero, Kurt Angle, lost two titles at WrestleMania 2000. Angle came in as the Euro-Continental Champion, holding both the European and Intercontinental titles. He faced Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in a triple threat match in which the first fall was for the IC title and the second was for the European Championship.

What makes this even more bizarre is that Benoit beat Jericho for the IC title, and Jericho defeated Benoit for the European title. Angle lost both championships without factoring into either decision.
