10 WWE Wrestlers' New Year's Resolutions

2. Brock Lesnar - Conquer Goldberg

Brock Lesnar doesn't come across as a man who wants for much. He seems more like a dude who would be happy staying at home knocking down trees, only coming out of his farm house to suplex whoever is dumb enough to stand in his way. But even for this simple man, the need for revenge is strong.

Goldberg didn't just defeat Brock Lesnar at the 2016 Survivor Series: he humiliated The Beast Incarnate. Lesnar was made to look like a fool, the bully finally found himself bullied. That brought Goldberg to a career record of 2-0 against Lesnar, and when you consider Lesnar only accepted the challenge because Goldberg was 1-0 up against him, that can't sit well.

Goldberg and Brock Lesnar are almost certain to go one-on-one a third time in 2017, and coming out on top must be the only thing on Brock Lesnar's mind heading into the new year. Lesnar isn't going to be the sort of man to let things go, and Goldberg may be in for a rough time in 2017.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
