10 WWE Wrestlers John Cena Shouldn't Have Beaten

Along with Paige, Adam Rose and Bo Dallas, Rusev made the jump from NXT to the main roster immediately following WrestleMania 30. From the moment he arrived, it was evident WWE had big plans in mind for him when he embarked on a lengthy undefeated streak in singles competition

From Mark Henry to Big Show to Sheamus, Rusev annihilated everyone who stepped foot in his path of destruction, and then he hit the roadblock that was John Cena. While it was smart of them to keep Rusev's streak alive at Fastlane when he forced him to pass out (albeit after shenanigans from Lana at ringside), it was only inevitable that he would be beaten by Cena with it being more a matter of "when" and not "if."

Sure enough, it came time for Rusev to do the job to Cena at WrestleMania 31, and in losing both his streak and his United States Championship, he lost a little luster that night. To make matters worse, he'd lose another two times to The Champ at Extreme Rules and Payback, respectively, in addition to severing ties with Lana. We got the U.S. Open out of Cena's win, but it didn't nothing but hinder Rusev's red-hot momentum.
