1. Drew McIntyre

We talk about Drew McIntyre's forthcoming main event push a lot on this website, but it's justified. He’s about to become a star. 2019 will be the year he finally soars to the top, becoming the ‘Chosen One’ he was supposed to be all those years ago, and it’s something WWE have been building towards from the moment he arrived on Raw.

The Roman Reigns situation has left WWE with a massive void at the top of the card. TNow there are a number of candidates to become 'The Guy' in his absence - Seth Rollins would be great, for one - but everything about the way WWE have handled Drew suggests it’ll be him. They’ve been building him up as the Diesel to Dolph Ziggler’s Shawn Michaels. They're going to have a lengthy feud now that they've finally turned on each other. The victor is going to emerge as a megastar… and, yeah, it won’t be Ziggler.

McIntyre is ready for the spot. He’s now a better performer than ever before, and watching him break out is going to be super satisfying to anyone who has followed his career.
