Confession time: This writer had heard a fair bit about Rok-C during her ROH days, but he never took the time to check out any of her work. So, in short, Rok-C's arrival on NXT as Roxanne Perez was a real treat for this fan. It was clear immediately that she was ultra-talented.

Roxanne's 2022 peaked when she clashed with old tag partner Cora Jade in a fun 'Weapons Wild' bout at Halloween Havoc. Her performance was so punchy and full of underdog spirit that it was hard not to cheer Perez on (Jade also deserves loads of cred for playing such a detestable heel) and will her to victory.

It's incredible that she's still only 21 too.

If Roxanne's quality trajectory continues into 2023, then she'll surely become a breakout star of the women's division. Before that, Triple H may want to stick the NXT Women's Title around her waist and book a lengthy run as champ.
