10 WWE Wrestlers To Jump Ship RIGHT NOW

2. AJ Styles

AJ Styles is closer to the end of his career than ever. That was literally the basis for a recent storyline on SmackDown which saw AJ worm his way into a WWE Title shot vs. Cody Rhodes. The way Styles and Cody set that up was magical, and their matches at Backlash and Clash At The Castle were awesome, but being back in the top line mix was fleeting for AJ.

Now, he has a choice to make: Stay put in WWE and work the salty veteran act. Or, make a leap of faith over to AEW and work vs. MJF, Kenny Omega (whenever that's possible), Will Ospreay and more. Again, as with most wrestlers featured here, everything hinges on what he wants over the next few years.

Styles is maybe in a different boat, because he's ticking down his career clock rather than hitting his prime. The 'Phenomenal One' still has a lot to offer though, and there would be significant interest if he was the latest to announce himself as #AllElite.

Good luck getting a story as fun as the Cody stuff in AEW, but at least the matches would be killer.
