10 WWE Wrestlers To Jump Ship RIGHT NOW

3. Santos Escobar

At one point, Santos Escobar seemed destined for a series of major PLE showdowns vs. old mentor Rey Mysterio, but WWE lost interest in that story. Instead, Santos has tweaked his Legado del Fantasma faction to include other stragglers like Humberto and Angel. Elektra Lopez was called up from NXT to act as a valet too.

Despite the retooling, Santos hasn't reached that next level. Recently, he third-wheeled harder than anyone has third-wheeled before during a Money In The Bank qualifier. Escobar was sandwiched between warring rivals LA Knight and Logan Paul, and everyone kinda just wanted the guy to get out of the way so they could see LA vs. LP.

That's not a good sign for his standing on the main roster.

There's an argument to be made for the entire Legado faction jumping to AEW. If not, then Santos solo would do. He's a talented worker between the ropes, and arguably just needs some creative faith. However, there is a chance Tony Khan would treat him like flavour of the month then get bored too.

That's always a risk with Tony.
