10 WWE Wrestlers We Want To See In RETRIBUTION
6. Mia Yim
Mia Yim’s NXT run has ranged in quality. A strong personality and likeable babyface, Yim‘s strengths have led to her being praised by fans, especially in units like her associations with Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart in recent months. She has a distinctive look and the potential to do great things, however, she hasn't quite lived up to her talents in big moments.
A disappointing women’s title match with Shayna Baszler at Takeover Toronto last year sunk her chances at achieving NXT gold to lower than they’d ever been, and none of her work in recent months suggests that she’s going to get a big push for the top of the division.
Giving Yim the opportunity to expand on her character by embracing a tweener/heel role as part of the RETRIBUTION unit could help solidify her in-ring work, ensuring that she can be as good as she’s capable of being on the indies and in the Mae Young Classic. She hasn’t had that game-changing moment yet, getting to have major main roster matches in a compelling angle could be what cements her as a star.
