Wrestling is a business that's filled to the brim with second chances and Drew McIntyre is the embodiment of this. His meteoric fall from grace during his initial WWE run is legendary. Still, the reputation he's garnered for reinventing himself and returning with a vengeance is now the focal point of his career.

His initial WWE debut in 2007 saw him working matches alongside his mentor Dave Taylor, and he'd eventually find himself in FCW. Then came the iconic debut, which saw him introduced by Vince McMahon as a future World Heavyweight Champion and labelled as The Chosen One.

During this time, McIntyre sported a clean-shaven and lean look, which made him look like a full of himself young talent, who was handed everything. His WWE career would soon stumble and fall as he was booked poorly, joined the lacklustre stable 3MB and was eventually released.

Rather than taking this as a defeat, McIntyre saw it as an opportunity to reinvent himself and tore up the independent circuit, building his body into a much larger state and altering his look and persona into something far more ferocious, before eventually returning to the company.

He went from looking like an arrogant young upstart, whose bark was worse than his bite, to a hulking barbarian monster who'd bite your head off and think nothing of it.
