10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Almost Unrecognisable Since Debuting
5. Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin went from being one of the coolest presences on the NXT roster to one of the most divisivesuperstars in WWE.
The towering superstar joined NXT in 2012, sporting some interesting tattoos and ring gear. His repackaging two years later that saw him gain traction, as he burst onto the scene with long black hair, an incredible entrance, and some impressive attire. He looked so metal and had a Lone Wolf gimmick that worked well, especially as his quick and exciting move-set would dispatch enhancement talent in no time.
The years haven't been so kind to Corbin. The first noticeable differences are the physical ones, as he went from having some of the coolest ring gear to the lamest. Rather than sporting leather jackets and well-designed tights, he now totters to the ring in a bland singlet/trouser combo. He also lost the long black hair, which is a noticeable difference.
Finally, his in-ring work is unrecognisable, as putting him into longer matches made his limitations clearer. He works very slowly, and this ironically acts as a complete juxtaposition to his fast and explosive original energy.
