10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Almost Unrecognisable Since Debuting
6. Bray Wyatt
Windham Lawrence Rotunda - son of the legendary Mike Rotunda - debuted for WWE in the FCW developmental territory under the name Alex Rotundo but found himself in a very prominent position when he was introduced as a rookie in season two of NXT under the name Husky Harris.
For his Husky Harris gimmick, Rotunda sported a typical look, with simple black trunks and very little else. The lack of colour and spirit here made him look like a blank canvas. But that changed when he introduced his new character, Bray Wyatt.
Wyatt initially found a lot of success down in NXT and eventually on the main roster. His over-the-top cult leader gimmick got audiences fascinated, and he amassed a great stable in the Wyatt family. But WWE struggled to give him the booking he required, and the character spun out, leaving Wyatt constantly looking up at the lights.
The same can be said with his latest persona, The Fiend. While he certainly looks terrific, his booking has been atrocious, with his latest WrestleMania defeat adding another disappointing end to a promising character. Still, it's fascinating to see how far Husky Harris has come, and how little you can recognise him.
