10 WWE Wrestlers Who Desperately Need To Be Repackaged In 2021
9. Mandy Rose
In 2020, Mandy Rose was involved in one of the best rivalries of the year and one of the best romance angles. Unfortunately, WWE hasn’t done enough with Rose since.
The story that saw Rose and, former Mr. Money in the Bank, Otis’ love blossom was exactly the type needed; it elevated every wrestler involved and featured a happy ending. The fallout of WrestleMania 36 saw Rose and Deville go to war in a months long storyline, where both women displayed just how good they are in the ring and on the mic. Their feud culminated in a No Disqualification Loser Leaves WWE blowoff match at SummerSlam, where Rose was victorious. This should have been the beginning of a major push for Rose. Instead, she was traded to RAW this past September, where she’s been teaming with Dana Brooke, in the brutally mismanaged tag division.
Rose has demonstrated she possesses the skills to be a future champion. Booking her to re-join the tag division, after splitting from Deville, is one step forward, two steps back. Rose doesn’t need repackaging; WWE creative need to get back to booking Rose like they did during the first half of 2020. If creative had continued to push Rose following SummerSlam, she could have walked into the Royal Rumble as a fan favourite. She’s lost some momentum but, if the creative team can get back to presenting Rose as they were earlier this year, expect a major Mandy Rose breakout in 2021.
