10 WWE Wrestlers Who NEED A Great 2018
7. Asuka
Clearly, Asuka has nothing to prove inside the ring. She's arguably one of the best workers in the entire company - something evidenced just about every time she took to the squared circle over the last 12 months.
The uncertainty stems more from doubts about the main roster creative team, whom have on countless occasions over the last three or four years undone the good work of their NXT counterparts by booking their latest recruits in forgettable or slapdash storylines.
This concern is particularly pressing when it comes to the Empress of Tomorrow, because her career appears to be so finely poised at the moment. She's in the midst of a record-setting undefeated run, the like of which no female performer in WWE history has ever replicated.
Odds are the company will get things right this time. After all, they have spent the best part of two years preparing Asuka for a run on the main roster. But it equally wouldn't be a huge shock if Alexa Bliss ended her streak on a random episode of Raw.
