10 WWE Wrestlers Who The Fans Truly Hated
5. X-Pac
A performer who was so hated in his day that a whole genre of fan distaste was named after him: X-Pac heat remains a very real thing even if Sean Waltman has since been reevaluated. Debuting as The 1-2-3 Kid, the young Waltman was a popular performer, standing out for his diminutive size and agility in an age of giants.
Like many tearaways, the problem was the company he kept. X-Pac was welcomed into The Kliq, and enjoyed the rub that came with it. While the rest of the stable evolved, X-Pac stayed much the same for the entirety of his career. He was a brash, crotch chopping, tongue lolling degenerate long after DX had packed away the green and black attire.
While doing nothing of real note, he continued to be booked strong, and as age took hold his once-reliable in ring skills began to wane, making him even less likeable. Things went from bad to worse in his personal life, with substance and domestic abuse issues leading to a suicide attempt.
He’s doing much better now, but will forever be associated with that go away heat you don’t want.
