10 WWE Wrestlers Who Will NEVER Win A World Title

9. Tommaso Ciampa

LA Knight
WWE

Looking at Tommaso Ciampa at the height of his NXT run was like seeing a future god of wrestling in the making. The man was so effective as a heel that he entered the arena at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans without any entrance music yet still filled the stadium with sound as deafening boos reigned down on him. You'd think that would make him a guaranteed future World Champion, but oh boy, you'd be wrong there.

When Ciampa finally made it to the main roster in 2019, it was in a disappointing angle that brought himself, Johnny Gargano, Aleister Black, and Ricochet along with him -- more on two of those names later, *wink wink*. He'd head back to NXT after a long hiatus due to injury, where he'd stay until 2022.

Eventually, he'd come back to Raw with a vengeance. So, what did he do? Go straight for a title? Destroy a beloved babyface? Deliver a 5-star debut match? No, he just sort of hung around The Miz.

Ciampa is a phenomenal wrestler, but his booking has seen him doing barely anything on TV. Adding to this tragedy is that he could be wrestling on borrowed time, thanks to his age and the severe neck injury that stunted his first Raw run. Sadly, these ingredients all come together to make a World Championship-less cocktail.
