9. Hornswoggle - The Great American Bash 2007
Hornswoggle has become the superstar Vince McMahon called on to kill storylines dead in their tracks. From the illegitimate son story to the anonymous Raw general manager, the former leprechaun has a number of ignoble accolades on his record.
Another of his achievements was being the last Cruiserweight Champion in its original lineage, and as you may have guessed, he won it without being in the match.
At The Great American Bash 2007, a five-man Cruiserweight Open between Champion Chavo Guerrero, Jamie Noble, Funaki, Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang. Just as the referee rang the bell for the bout to begin, Hornswoggle slid in and out of the ring without the other men realising, officially making him part of the match. For the entire duration though, he hid underneath the ring
The finish came when, after a superplex, Jamie Noble was prone in the ring. At this point, Hornswoggle finally entered the match, performed the tadpole splash and earned the 1-2-3, win the match and the title without ever getting involved until the last minute.
