10 WWE Wrestlers Whose Second Run Eclipsed Their First
9. Umaga
After one or two cameo appearances, Edward Fatu got his first real chance in WWE in 2002, when he was introduced by Eric Bischoff - under the name "Jamal" - as part of 3-Minute Warning.
The ostensible purpose of this group was to help the then-Raw General Manager ensure his show remained on top of the ratings war - they would basically come out and beat up anyone who was too boring for TV - but, ironically, they couldn't garner any crowd reaction themselves.
Released from the company the following year, Fatu spent two years freelancing before returning to our screens in the spring of 2006, this time under the guise of Umaga, a fast-moving Samoan Bulldozer managed by the loud-mouthed Alejandro Estrada. It was during this spell that Fatu very nearly shattered WWE's glass ceiling, wrestling a spectacular match with John Cena at the 2007 Royal Rumble before partaking in Donald Trump's WrestleMania wager a few months later.
That's impressive. Hugely impressive.
