8. Von Wagner

No matter what, if Vince McMahon is high on you, your career has endless possibilities with the summit obviously being the WrestleMania main event. Only the very best achieve this slot, and as long as Vinnie Mac is holding the magic writer’s pen, second-generation star Cal Bloom is a ‘Mania main eventer in waiting.

At a towering 6 ft 5, Bloom has the image and presence WWE craves, and he has already emerged from NXT 2.0 as one of the brands leading hopes for the future. This, despite how early in his journey he is. Inserted into the main event of the first 2.0 show, replacing LA Knight to compete for the NXT Championship, is a huge spot for a guy so young. It proves how much the company admire the son of former Beverly Brother Beau.

Like many of his peers that WWE have high aspirations for, Wagner is only in phase one of what has the potential to be a long and glistening career. Mistakes will be made, and he could benefit from a name change because Von Wagner does not exactly send shivers down the spine like a man of his size should.

Although, if WWE put the time and effort into Bloom, and it is likely they will, anything is possible.
