It's difficult to overcome anybody who looks at this entry and immediately thinks, 'BAD BUNNY?!'. Yes, it once seemed impossible that the rapper would ever be on any 'Best Of WWE' list, let alone one analysing the absolute best matches in company history, but then Backlash 2023 rolled along. What happened next was a wonderful treat of celeb-infused goodness that caught everyone by surprise.

The fired up crowd in San Juan, Puerto Rico treated every WWE worker from top to bottom like a star, but they kept some powder dry for the main event. OK, so Bunny vs. Damian Priest wasn't actually the headliner, but it was the main attraction for many locally. Seeing 'local boy done good' Bunny out there with a rising star like Priest was emotionally satisfying to the Puerto Rican masses despite the fact Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar technically went on last.

Not many were talking about Cody or Brock once the PLE was over with though. Nah, they were far too busy waxing lyrical about just how impressive Bunny's performance had been. He lit the venue up with a sensational celebrity routine Logan Paul would've been proud of, and Priest more than met him halfway by making sure neither man missed a beat.

Bunny scoring the win proved popular. This remains the musician's last WWE match at time of writing, but that'll surely change if he ever gets the urge. Triple H wouldn't say no to more, put it that way. That's how good the rapper's work was in May 2023. The bout also played a huge part in convincing management that Priest was worthy of even bigger moments in years to follow.
