5. Goldust Wants $1m For Breast Implants

Goldust avoided becoming a streaker in 1999, but he almost went under the knife for a drastic change before that. Whilst gloating about owning WCW via the Raw/Nitro simulcast in March 2001, Vince McMahon told the world that Dustin Rhodes wanted to get breast implants.

No, not as part of a storyline. For real. Dustin was going to go for surgery and come out with new humps, new lumps, new lovely little lumps. Only they...wouldn't have been little. Knowing Goldust's desperation towards the end of his character's initial shelf life in the late-90s, he would've gone big or gone home.

Eat your heart out, Sable, Sunny and the rest of the original Divas.

In return for making this sacrifice, Rhodes would've received a bonus $1m payday for his troubles. McMahon surely thought about saying yes, because he was in the business of scandalous promotion, and he must've known how much attention one of his male wrestlers getting implants would garner. Then, even Vince thought it'd be a step too far and shut the whole thing down before an appointment was booked.

Lord only knows what Goldust would've done once the shock value wore off. You'd have to guess that he'd go in to have the silicone removed, but that's an awful lot of personal upheaval for short-term notoriety on camera. Later, Goldust returned to the company during the 2002 Royal Rumble, and he felt relatively fresh again.

It turns out that all Goldie needed was some time away, not some new tiddies.
