Look, WrestleMania XII was 22 years ago. The Bret Hart Rule - that an Iron Man draw must lead to overtime - is very well established. The Hitman threw a little hissy fit and everything. It was not edifying.

David Diggler didn't seem aware of the fact this Sunday, attempting to high-tail it out once the clock struck zero with the scores all square. Why doesn't he know though? This is his profession. At the very least, had Gorilla Monsoon not ruined it for champs way back in Anaheim, he should have expected the title to be held in abeyance pending a rematch.

Even Kurt Angle - ostensibly, a wrestling administrator - seemed clueless, barging out redder than a boiled Roy Keane to insist the pair continue, as though that wasn't already the company's established precedent. Everybody needs retraining.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
