A big mistake with Fastlane's main event is how long it leaves until WrestleMania, with six weeks still to go until the April 3 megashow. The mistake was establishing the number one contender so soon. Reigns should have had more obstacles put in his place to make fans appreciate his journey. Instead, Stephanie McMahon just gave him this shot at Fastlane, in a move that made zero character sense. Why would the heel boss spend weeks getting the title off him, just to give him another opportunity? The creative has been a mess, and when Reigns wins at Fastlane, he will be burdened with weeks of build against Triple H for a match that few fans actually want to see at WrestleMania.
