10. How Will NXT Call-Ups Fare?

Last week, we saw Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews, Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady and the Vaudevillains debut in WWE. These NXT call-ups joined recent roster arrivals Sami Zayn and AJ Styles (who didn’t spend any time in NXT).

Crews is insanely talented in the ring; Corbin has an interesting look and was making strides recently in NXT; the Vaudevillains are talented, quirky performers; and Enzo and Big Cass are a hot tag team act with a singalong shtick that rivals the New Age Outlaws. But the big question here is whether WWE’s creative team (and especially Vince McMahon) can figure out how to book them.

We’ve seen WWE take popular, successful NXT stars and completely squander them: Emma, Neville, Kalisto and Tyler Breeze all immediately come to mind as NXT wrestlers who have floundered (not necessarily by their doing) on the main roster. Will any (or all) of these recent call-ups fare better? Or will they soon be jobbing to Roman Reigns in a six-on-one handicap match?
