11 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (April 11th)

9. Is Tag Team Wrestling Back?

New Day

For the past month-plus, we’ve seen WWE Tag Team Champions New Day tangle with the League of Nations in a never-ending feud. The League won at WrestleMania, but they’ve lost three tag title shots in the past month, so that horse has been beaten to death.

Beyond New Day and the League of Nations, we have the Lucha Dragons, Ascension, Dudley Boyz, Usos and Social Outcasts. That’s not exactly a stacked roster. However, we saw three tag teams announced or introduced last week: the afore-mentioned Enzo & Big Cass, the Vaudevillains and the returning Primo & Epico. Could these new teams help revitalize WWE’s tag team division?

These teams say nothing about partnering up guys who aren’t doing much – and we’re not referencing Goldust and R-Truth. It could be that we’ll see more tag team action in the coming weeks. NXT has shown how much fun it came be to have numerous competitive tag matches, so hopefully that will trickle up to the main show.
