Is it only a matter of time for Johnny Gargano? His current persona revolves around his refusal to quit no matter how many times he's knocked down, which is reminiscent of not only CM Punk, but near enough every iconic superstar of the wrestling industry.

Punk and other such superstars are upon the hill which Gargano has yet to fully summit, and Gargano's hunger to reach that level is evident in every single promo he cuts. His underdog up-and-coming stature is something which Punk would be likely to fully endorse. But does that mean Gargano would respond to Punk favourably? Possibly not. Gargano is a self-made man. He has leaned on nobody for support. Perhaps he would appreciate a reach out from Punk, or perhaps he would renounce CM Punk's legacy altogether.
