6. World Tag Team Titles: Lucha Brothers (c) vs. FTR

Things have cooled off in the AEW tag division since All Out, where The Lucha Brothers took the titles in that sensational steel cage war with The Young Bucks. Given little to no prominence on television, Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo have struggled, labouring from one backstage promo/tacked-on post-match save to another, week by week, with their low-point being the AAA Tag Team Title change.

FTR disguising themselves as luchadors to steal the straps felt like a Monday Night Raw storyline. The feud has unfortunately never recovered from it, making it difficult to get excited about this match beyond the workrate appeal.

NXT TakeOver, is that you?

Stylistically, this should be a tremendous match, but we've said that a lot about FTR. Their pay-per-view matches rarely live up to their billing. The '80s throwback style sounds great on paper but it doesn't always fulfil its southern promise, suggesting, perhaps, that FTR are closer to the style their characters rage against than they'd care to admit. How they look in this match, against the world's foremost high-flying tandem, will be telling.

There's a strong case for a Lucha Brothers win here, given that most of the feud has gone against them. Still, lingering beef with Santana and Ortiz hangs in the background for FTR. If they're going to settle the score, a Revolution title fight makes sense.

Winners: FTR
