11 HUGE NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard Predictions You Need To Know

10. Will Ospreay (c) Vs. Jeff Cobb (c) (NEVER Openweight Vs. ROH TV Title - Winner Takes All)

Kazuchika Okada G1 Supercard
ROH/NJPW

The first of two Winner Takes All title vs. title bouts sees New Japan's NEVER Openweight kingpin face off with a dominant Ring Of Honor Television Champion. It looks like something that would've featured prominently on a PWG show a few years ago, and could prove the perfect hot opener between two wrestlers whose styles should mesh incredibly well.

Will Ospreay has spent his year trying to wrestle like more of a big, beefy boy since bludgeoning his way out of NJPW's restrictive junior heavyweight division. His opponent, Jeff Cobb, is one of the biggest, beefiest boys around. Get ready for the Olympian ragdolling the Englishman across the ring whenever he gets his hands on him. Ospreay, the world-class athlete that he is, will dazzle as he flips his way out of Cobb's various throws and slams, and use his old high-flying skillset where possible. This won't be your typical power vs. speed battle, though: Ospreay hits harder than ever in 2019. He's coming to New York to concuss his burly Hawaiian foe.

He might not succeed in that department, but he should triumph.

Winner: Will Ospreay.
