Kurt's ex wife Karen filed for divorce in 2008. The love she once held for Kurt had obviously transitioned into loathing. There may have been several reasons for this, but most likely is Kurt's dependency on drugs. He'd become a dark and depressed man. It is hard to love somebody who is guzzling poison and killing themselves in front of your eyes. The Dawn Marie rumours also maybe got to Karen. Kurt was unfaithful so of course she was going to hate him when she heard that news. After the divorce, Karen ended up with Kurt's friend Jeff Jarrett. There were injured feelings on both sides. Happily, they are now all friends and moved on in the interest of their kids.
