Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle's friendhship turned into bitter hatred in 2009. As detailed in the last page, Karen Angle became romantically involved with Double-J. TNA President Dixie Carter ended up putting Jarrett on an absence, in a bid to avoid any hostilities with Kurt. That move undoubtedly ticked Jarrett off - he had after all been the originator of TNA. With Karen in his ear, Dixie against him, and Kurt wanting to rip his head off, it's fair to assume that Jeff was not too fond of Kurt Angle in this period.
