The best in the world was Kurt Angle for a very long time. The most recent 'Best In The World' was undoubtedly CM Punk. It's the nickname that Punk used and he lived up to it in every moment of his career. The hatred that Punk has for Angle stems from Kurt criticising WWE guys stealing moves in 2011. Kurt later claimed that his twitter had been hacked. CM Punk took a shot at Angle in response, tweeting ""my twitter account was hacked, is the new: Im a sloppy drunk douche. That was a very personal shot to take at Angle, who was a recovering abuser of substances. Punk really didn't like Kurt, otherwise he wouldn't have got that personal. In 2012, Punk upset Angle again after being interviewed and calling TNA an indie league. "Punk wants to Say TNA Is An Indy League? I Was On top in WWE when You Were trying to Get a Job Anywhere. It Was My Choice to go to TNA. .." was Kurt's retort on Twitter. "If I ever See You Punk, Hide B****!" he added.
