Fans who rode along with Kofi to WrestleMania 35 are well aware of the role that his stablemates Xavier and E played in his journey.

Already defeated once by WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, Kingston had to overcome several obstacles to earn a title match at 'Mania. The final obstacle came in the form of Woods and E having to run a tag-team gauntlet. If they failed, then Kingston would not get his title shot.

The duo defeated The Club, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura and The Bar, but they were clearly battered and ripe for the picking. Enter their rivals, The Usos.

However, Jimmy and Jey had no designs on derailing 'KofiMania', forfeiting their portion of the gauntlet match to the New Day. Enraged, Bryan and Rowan ran down to be the final challengers against the injured E and Woods. The New Day managed to flip the announce desk onto Rowan and beat the count, winning the gauntlet and sending Kofi to the big dance.

For those on the journey with Kingston, this was the good stuff, with his ride-or-die teammates sacrificing it all to ensure he got his moment in the sun.
