6. Big E Cashes In

Big E is one of the most beloved and respected wrestlers in WWE - not just among fans, but amongst the wrestlers themselves.

That’s why E winning the Money In The Bank briefcase in 2021 was such a big deal, because it signalled that he very likely was going to hold a World Title at some point in the next year. Sure enough, that moment came in September of that year when Big E cashed in on Bobby Lashley to become WWE Champion.

Seeing a good human being like E achieve his dream was just a tremendous moment, one that overcame the critique about a babyface cashing in on an injured Lashley after a match. E would go on to hold the title for a bit more than 3 months before losing it in a Fatal-5-Way match at Day 1 to Brock Lesnar.

Just 2 months later, a botched belly-to-belly suplex on the floor from Ridge Holland broke Big E’s neck, ending his in-ring career. Thankfully, E, his friends and family, and the fans all got to celebrate his time as a world champion before he was forced to retire.
