11 Popular WWE Stars John Cena Has Tried To 'Steal' Heat From
4. Bray Wyatt
The feud between John Cena and Bray Wyatt had bad idea written all over it from the moment it began. Whether deliberate or not, whenever Cena feuds with someone lower on the card, it rarely serves to really elevate the other person, even if they win the feud. At the end of the day, Cena will stand tall and rise above opposition. Despite being one of the hottest young stars with a ton of potential heading into 2014, Bray Wyatt was no different. His feud with Cena carried through WrestleMania XXX and into June did little to push Wyatt as a top force in the company he lost at Mania and Payback, and the only match he won (at Extreme Rules) was due to overt interference from the Wyatt Family and a kid with an overdubbed demonic voice. Cena once again was tested by a heel to see if he would dig down into the depths and channel his evil side to win. Once again, Cena overcame without compromising his principles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR6yVUxXnyA Bray went from being one of the most interesting characters on the roster to being another Cena conquest in the span of a few months. The feud did so little to help Wyatt that he was taken off television for nearly a month (save for a few vignettes) this fall to help reboot his character a little.
