11 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About WWE NXT

4. Average Talent

There's this reputation of NXT being stuffed full of exceptional wrestlers. But it just isn't true. Most of the really good workers are shipped in from other companies, and the rest of the roster is just a bit bland. Take a look at the roster, do you really see anyone who could be the next Triple H or The Rock? Most of the talent are actually pretty average, and even the exceptional wrestlers are going to struggle to become huge stars. Being a WWE main eventer is more than just the ability to work a match. If it was all about in-ring ability, then Tyson Kidd would be main eventing WrestleMania shows. NXT talent may be able to produce in the ring, but is there really anyone who can be WWE's next franchise star? Even NXT products like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, as successful as they are, they don't look like disturbing John Cena's spot any time soon. If the developmental NXT system is to really work, it needs to churn out a John Cena.
