11 Ups & 1 Down From Last Night's WWE NXT (Oct 30)
3. Kick Bate
For all that Tyler Bate's match with Cameron Grimes wasn't a standout, the post-match beatdown definitely was.
Killian Dain's imperfect return to NXT now finds him as either killer-for-hire for Grimes or scourge of British Strong Style because of an isolated incident with Pete Dunne.
Whatever the as-yet-unknown motivation, he tore into Bate following his hard-fought loss with such rage that it appeared to be teeing up something far more significant down the road.
The mutual indifference around Dain's early comeback work has finally dissolved. In its place, the former Sanity hardman may have found the programme he needed all along.
