Candice LeRae and Io Shirai's chemistry was strong enough to steal the last TakeOver, and they brought their fire and fury to Full Sail with a bruising and bloody opener.

What more superlatives are there to share on Shirai at this point? She's beyond qualifiers based on gender, championships or roster placement as one of the best wrestlers in the entire world.

That manifested itself here in punishing fashion for LeRae yet again after her initial high spots collapsed in a fit of Io's rage. Some evil offence wasn't enough for the 'Genius Of The Sky', resulting in her introducing a chair into the match in desperation. It was the key to her victory - LeRae missed her quebrada and landed flush on the weapon and it was enough for Shirai to claim the win.

Neither woman's evening was over yet, though...
