7. (Babyface) Fire Extinguishers

The babyface fire of Joey Janela came out at the bell here, as he threw more piss and vinegar at Chris Jericho in the tag's opening 20 seconds than in the entirety of his recent squash defeat. Said squash was a triumph, though 'The Bad Boy' was despatched without a comeback: here, he and Sonny Kiss brought the fight to Jericho and Jake Hager immediately, not letting up until the final bell.

Kiss is Hager's kryptonite. One on one, he keeps getting the better of 'The Big Hurt.' It started with the Casino Battle Royale and continued here, as Jake was continually outdone in their individual exchanges. It wasn't until Janela was launched through a table on the outside and Sonny was left alone that Hager truly got ahead of 'The Concrete Rose,' submitting Kiss after Jericho had skooshed him with a fire extinguisher from the outside.

A good, plunderful time here, with Jericho signposting his next direction in the post-match promo, claiming him and Hager were targeting the Tag Team Titles. This show was all about setting the table for the next arc: Jericho's story is exciting, having only flirted with tag competition in the past.
