11 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Nov 13)
2. Hijackovic
Unimaginative in the extreme, the booking of Dominik Dijakovic's insertion into Team Ciampa was almost certainly altered thanks to Johnny Gargano's injury and subsequent removal from TakeOver: WarGames, but did the whole thing really need to be quite so civil?
Evening the odds (sort of) for the babyfaces against The Undisputed Era, Dijakovic paid off the Twitter exchange between himself, Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee from weeks earlier... as if he couldn't have done so at the time.
Why, this week, did he decide to make his intentions clear in such bland fashion? He saved the day, but why this day? The answers to both questions are "because he had to", but this is corporate canon, not kayfabe.
