11 Wrestlers Who Are The Dark Horse To Become WWE Champion In 2015

3. Rusev

Outside of Brock Lesnar, no one has been stronger than Rusev in 2014 for the WWE. He has made a great heel alongside the lovely Lana, using their love for Russia and their hate for America to make everyone turn against them. It also helps to rub it into the crowd when a GIGANTIC Russian flag drops down above the ring after his victories. Known as the Super Athlete, he's got both size and agility that are the right combination to give him dominance in the ring. He has taken on all different sorts of challengers from jobbers like Jack Swagger and larger wrestlers in Mark Henry or Big Show. None of them have been able to pin or submit him. While he is still less than a year from officially being on the main roster, with the way they are building Rusev up, he will most likely shoot past the secondary titles and contend for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2015. The only thing lacking is a feud where it's believable that he could lose. Once he defeats someone like a John Cena or Daniel Bryan in 2015, you'll know that he's a contender for real.
